About the Owner

Mary Alice, the owner of Citrine Skin & Lash Spa, began her beauty career in Los Angeles in 2004 — and from the very beginning, her passion for skin, health, and helping people feel their best has never wavered. After becoming licensed, she pursued additional certifications in eyelash extensions, advanced chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and an extensive range of holistic skin treatments, going on to work at some of the top spas in the greater Los Angeles area.

After years of building her craft on the West Coast, Mary Alice and her husband relocated to the Raleigh area in 2017 — and Citrine Skin & Lash Spa was born. Built on the belief that true beauty comes from within, Mary Alice created Citrine to be more than just a spa — a place rooted in community, driven by expertise, and dedicated to helping every person who walks through the door feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely seen. What began in Los Angeles over two decades ago has grown into something far greater — a community, a purpose, and a place people call home.
